I'm trying to find a way to change the category images to better match the categories. I've tried a couple of plugins but they seem out of date and don't work. At the very least I need to change the existing one used on all category pages, but I'm not seeing where to do that either. I don't see a category.php or archive.php template.
Please note that all category pages inherit settings from the Blog page. So in order to change that image you need to change the featured image on the Blog page.

A huge thank you from BoldThemes in advance!
So there is no way to have different images for each category page?
Unfortunately, there is no way to display different images in different categories.
Ok thanks. I was able to do it with CSS by targeting the category classes. Did what I needed.
What's the best way to change how the archive titles read?
I'd prefer "Auto Accidents Archives - LegalASAP" just read "Auto Accidents"
Once you add titles with Yoast SEO plugin, header will display that title and site name, instead of the page title.
In order to show only title, without site name, you could change page title template to display only the title. In Yoast > Titles & Metas > Pages Title template, you could add title template as:
Other option would be to switch to All in One SEO Pack plugin, that does not affect header title.
You are welcome!
