The footer has an empty column to its right. What i am after is the ‘recent posts’ widget to be on the left with the thumbnail images visible in the same way as if it was on the side bat.
In order to display thumbnail images you should use BB Rcent Posts widget (instead of Recent Posts widget):
Should you want to display that widget all the way on the left side, you should drag that widget to be first widget in Footer widgets area widget list, for example:
Should you want more control over footer layout you can use Footer page instead of widgets.
In order to use the same footer for all the pages on your website please proceed and create Footer page (or use page from our demo) with desired content. Then, copy it's slug:
and add it to Custom Footer page field in Appearance> Customize> Header and Footer:
That way, footer will display on all pages throughout your website. Also, you could then choose number of columns and adjust Responsive tab within sections.
Should you still decide to use footer widgets, you can display one column on mobile via this code:
Unfortunately, it is not possible to add BB Recant posts widget to Footer page as it is not Bold Builder element, but widget, which is why it isn't available on Bold Builder's elements list:
Hi. Is it possible to make the recent posts widget in the footer wider to say 1/3 or 1/2 the page width.
Hi Brendon,
Width of the columns in Footer widget depends on the amount of the widgets you are using.
Could you please send link to the page where you've added Recent posts widget so that we can take a closer look?
Thanks!

I am still working on the layout of the recent posts in my footer on a mobile
I have used the footer widget which looks like this on desktop.
However on mobile it looks like this with large images.
How do i make it look like the demo site with small images like this.
Many thanks
Brendon
