Rendering Custom Shortcode

I'm writing a custom shortcode to display a menu of beers from the Untappd API. However, when I added the shortcode to the page in a text element in Bold Builder, the generated HTML appeared at the top of the page. How can I get this to appear in the correct area?

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

We haven't really tested the theme with any such shortcode so we can't guarantee if and how they will work.

Could you tell us if you were adding shortcode to a Text tab of Text element? Also, the shortcode might work with one of the plugins for adding custom code, such as WP Coder – add custom html, css and js code, or Code Embed.

Let us know if this helped.

Hi! Yes, I was adding the shortcode to a text element. Here is a screenshot.

I created this shortcode through php. Seems like a pretty standard usage to test. I'm just printing out some HTML.

    Hi Richard,

It is possible the issue is related to http you are using on your website as in Untappd documentation it is stated that all requests, must be made over HTTPS, as HTTP is not supported.

If that doesn't help, unfortunately we're afraid there is not much we can do from our side except suggest using text tab in Text element while adding the shortcode (or using some of the plugins for adding custom code, which we have suggested previously).

    Thank you for understanding.

Let us know if you need help with anything else.
