I am trying to change some of the template photographs but I cannot understand how you size them to fit?

For example the banner picture. I have looked at the template image sizes and then copied the size across. Uploading the images to the same size, however, the template then enlarges the size of the photograph which means the image sits wrongly. I don't want to download the wrong size photograph (bought 25 images from Shutterstock) for them to not "fit" right into the theme.

Someone mentioned something about adding spacers but I really need stage by stage guide as this makes no sense to me! Or can I have the right size dimensions or an explanation of how to work out the correct size dimensions?

    Many thanks

    Rachel

    Hi Rachel,

The ideal image size depends on where the image will be on the page. We would recommend using images that are up to 2500px, since larger ones might affect site's speed.

You can try using this plugin in order to set the size for multiple images in Media library:

Thank you for your help I have been able to sort out  most of the images with the guidance you have given!  Just the image of me on the home page opposite "Our promise to you" my head is chopped off and I have resized the image and added double padding. It seems to still be expanding the image into the frame...anyway to stop that happening?  Looks good on iphone x

    Hi Rachel,

We suggest that you try and add the image to the Image element, instead as a background image to the column.

Let us know if that helped.
